Josh & Brittani O’Connor

 
 

Our names are Josh and Brittani O’Connor and we’ve served in church ministry for the past decade with much of our experience pastoring the next generation (and their families). I (Josh) served on the staff of Victory Church in Lakeland, Florida as the NextGen Pastor for 10 years before assuming the role of lead pastor of Greenville First in September of 2018. I (Brittani) served as an elementary teacher and adjunct professor before joining the team full-time.

We would love to meet you in person and help point you to Jesus. We both grew up in Greenville First and our hearts are so full serving people just like you in our community.

Family

We believe going to church should feel like having your favorite family members over for dinner. Our friendly church will welcome you no matter where you are in your journey.

Worship Music

We will sing three modern worship songs together at the beginning of each service. We put the lyrics on big screens so you can sing with us!

Teaching

Pastor Josh will preach an encouraging message that is directly from the Bible, God’s word for us. At the end of the message, you will have an opportunity to commit your life to Jesus.

Fun

After each of our services, we will have fun food, live animals, bounce houses, photobooths, and more.

Our Beliefs

  • The Bible is completely inspired by God, and serves as our authoritative guide for faith and practice.

  • There is only One True God, known as the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus is God’s Son, both completely man and completely God.

  • Humanity’s sin has separated us from God, and the only way to restore the relationship is forgiveness offered through Jesus Christ, making us right before God and leading us on a life-long path to God.

  • There are two ways from the Bible that show our commitment to Christ that we should absolutely follow:  Water Baptism after Salvation, and Participating in Holy Communion.

  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a free gift for all believers that will give them strength to live life as a witness of Jesus Christ.

  • There is one Holy Universal Church that has a mission to evangelize the world, disciple followers of Christ, worship God, and provide Christlike works of compassion to all.

  • Jesus will return, judge the world, and begin a time of eternal relationship with those who follow Him and eternal separation from those who choose not to follow.
