Committing Your Life
to Jesus

Jesus wants a relationship with you!

Does something feel missing?

Every single person is born with sin. Sin is what separates us from God. God does not want to be separated from us!

“16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” - John 3:16-17

Jesus came to earth, died on a cross, and was raised to life to save us from sin, give us new life, and bring us into a relationship with God.

If you want to know what life with God is like, we’d love to help.

Salvation Is the Start of a Relationship

Salvation is about more than eternal life, it’s about eternal living! It’s the way to experience a full life with God here and now.

In deciding to follow Jesus, we’re acknowledging that we want to live for something bigger than ourselves. It means we are done living for ourselves, but want to live for God.

Jesus is the friend who never leaves us or forsakes us. He gives us His Spirit to guide us and access to God, who loves and cares for us.

Common Questions

  • In the Bible, specially Romans 10:9, it reads ” if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We are saved when we confess that we have sinned, believe that Jesus died and rose again for our sins, and commit to living our life for Jesus.

  • We are saved when we receive and believe the good news that Jesus came, died, and rose again for our sin. You don’t have to remember the exact time or place you made that recognition to be saved.

When someone is saved, we say that the person is “Made New!” This is because in 2 Corinthians 5:17 it says, “if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” You are a new person, more than just a better version of the old you.

  • Jesus gives every believer the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us a desire to live for God as well as the ability to hear, recognize, and respond to God’s voice.

To love God, to enjoy His presence, to hear His voice, and to feel the conviction of sin and the need for repentance — these are all common experiences of those who are saved.

Do You Want To Be Saved?

Romans 10:9 says, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Confess and believe. That’s all it takes to be saved. You can confess to Jesus in your own words, or pray the following:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I’ve fallen short. I’ve sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that You lived, died, and rose again so that I could be connected to God. I confess you as my Lord and commit my life to You. I give you my past, present, and future. Take my life and use it. I give it to You. Amen."
